Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site while strictly adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as pulling wire, installing outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Test and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure proper functionality under supervision.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
- Document work completed and report any safety hazards or equipment issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle for transportation to job sites.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- No prior experience is necessary; we value attitude and willingness to learn over experience.
