You will be responsible for the safe installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to local and national codes.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices.
- Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in Wisconsin.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
