Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent failures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and utilize complex electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
