Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Lead project teams and coordinate with subcontractors and clients
- Maintain clean, safe work environments and follow OSHA standards
- Complete detailed documentation for permits and project reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid North Carolina electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Experience with conduit bending, wiring, and load calculations
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
