Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, circuits, and wiring in accordance with local and national codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults using test equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions.
