Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of installations and repairs
- Train and mentor apprentices on safety protocols and best practices
- Conduct regular system inspections and preventive maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Kansas Journeyman Electrician license required
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proficiency in conduit bending, wiring, and circuit troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and safety standards
- Ability to read complex electrical schematics and blueprints
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
