Responsibilities
- Perform new construction electrical installations and renovations.
- Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues and system failures.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, foremen, and other tradespeople.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum of 4 years of verifiable work experience in commercial/residential wiring.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuits, and load calculations.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including multimeters and conduit benders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
