Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and pipe bursts.
- Install, maintain, and replace water heaters, faucets, toilets, and drainage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan pipe layouts.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure system efficiency and compliance with safety codes.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and provide transparent cost estimates.
- Utilize modern diagnostic tools and equipment to identify root causes of plumbing problems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (or equivalent work experience).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (required for job site travel).
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Willingness to obtain required state certifications and licenses.
