Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure system safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in Virginia.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
