Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of wiring and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure system functionality.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service and explain technical information to clients in a clear manner.
Qualifications
- Valid State of Florida Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites within the Jacksonville metropolitan area.
