Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues during night operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and local electrical codes (NEC).
- Educate junior staff and apprentices on safety procedures and technical specifications.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate logbooks.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the State of California.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Current California Driver’s License and clean driving record.
