Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Perform regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure all work sites remain clean, organized, and safe for the public and team members.
- Collaborate with project managers to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical information clearly.
- Assist in the training of junior apprentices and electricians.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license (State of California).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and valid tools.
