Job Overview
We are looking for a licensed electrician who is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and passionate about their craft. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and local codes.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine the layout of wiring and equipment.
- Ensure all electrical work meets local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to provide status updates and technical explanations.
- Utilize hand and power tools, as well as testing devices, to diagnose and repair electrical issues.
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various environments, including confined spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
