Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment according to local and national codes.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layouts and wiring strategies.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
