Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine layout of electrical systems.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies on the job site.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Minnesota.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
