Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, lighting, and control wiring.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on existing equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
