Responsibilities
- System Installation & Repair: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to provide efficient solutions and minimize downtime.
- Site Safety: Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and identifying potential hazards.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients and project managers to provide updates and ensure satisfaction.
- Tool Management: Properly inspect, maintain, and use a wide variety of electrical tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Tennessee required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in the electrical field.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of electrical theory, circuits, and power distribution.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and climb ladders or scaffolding.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license.
