Responsibilities
- Installation & Repair: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) safety standards.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to determine the most effective and safe course of repair.
- Inspection: Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Project Support: Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical details and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Licensing: Valid State of Florida Journeyman Electrician License (Master License preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Physical: Ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license.
