Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial piping systems.
- Install and repair water heaters, faucets, toilets, sinks, and drainage fixtures.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers, provide estimates when required, and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders or work in confined spaces.
- Strong desire to learn a hands-on trade and physical stamina.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
