Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
- Prepare job sites by gathering necessary materials, tools, and equipment.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure all work meets local building codes and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Support the team in troubleshooting electrical issues and conducting quality control checks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurement tools.
- Physical stamina required to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Willingness to work in various environments, including heights (requires certification) and confined spaces.
- Strong desire to learn and a positive, safety-first attitude.
