Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using test equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Manage projects from inspection to final client walkthrough
- Mentor apprentices and ensure team safety protocols
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and inspectors
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Electrician license (Journeyman/Master)
- 3+ years residential/commercial electrical experience
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong diagnostic skills with circuit testers & multimeters
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Pass background/drug screening
- Excellent communication and time management
