Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand circuit layouts.
- Perform basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting under supervision.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and prepare job sites.
- Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; however, a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work on ladders or at heights.
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and wire lengths.
