Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to meet project deadlines.
- Mentor junior electricians and apprentices when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, blueprints, and local building codes.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical documents.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
