Responsibilities
- Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, and power distribution.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime for clients.
- Conduct thorough site inspections to identify safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Mentor junior electricians and provide on-the-job training to foster a culture of excellence.
- Prepare detailed work orders and estimates for materials and labor costs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License issued by the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Deep knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Strong ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a project team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Current OSHA 10 or 30 Construction Industry Certification preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
