Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance across commercial and residential properties.
- Interpret and apply complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local jurisdictional requirements.
- Perform routine safety inspections and troubleshoot electrical systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Mentor junior electricians and apprentices to ensure team proficiency and safety standards.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the District of Columbia Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Deep understanding of OSHA safety regulations and electrical safety protocols.
- Proficient in reading and utilizing electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and building plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
