Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for residential/commercial projects
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Florida regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors/clients
- Maintain detailed work records and safety documentation
- Mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Florida electrician license (Journeyman or Master required)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong knowledge of NEC, Florida Building Code, and local ordinances
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
