Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in commercial and residential buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure all safety standards are met.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction crews to ensure timely project completion.
- Document all work performed accurately in job logs and reports.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License (required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
