Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of wiring, electrical components, and fixtures.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs.
- Use power tools and testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site at all times.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the state of Florida required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on electrical experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, troubleshooting, and using electrical testing meters.
- Tools: Own and maintain a personal set of professional electrical tools.
- Vehicle: Reliable personal transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients.
