Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout and wiring of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical faults to ensure system functionality and safety.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including explaining technical concepts to clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, including proper tool management and inventory control.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Tennessee.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Ability to obtain a Tennessee State Security License.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and confined spaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
