Responsibilities
- Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems.
- Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to plan installations.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults efficiently.
- Mentor and supervise apprentice electricians and junior staff.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License issued by the State of New York.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Strong proficiency with electrical testing equipment and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
