Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to minimize downtime for clients.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Estimate material and labor costs for new projects and provide detailed reports.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers and other tradespeople.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of California.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local San Diego building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Current OSHA 30 Certification is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
