Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and code-compliant wiring in commercial and residential properties.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematic diagrams to plan installations.
- Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and safety compliance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
- Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
