Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality residential and commercial electrical installations and repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layouts and wiring systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards and ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating technical concepts clearly to clients.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
