Responsibilities
- System Installation: Execute the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout and wiring of electrical circuits, lighting, and power systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex electrical faults and malfunctions efficiently, utilizing diagnostic tools and test equipment to restore systems to optimal performance.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment by strictly adhering to OSHA safety standards and company protocols at all times.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide status updates, explain technical details, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Tools & Equipment: Properly maintain and utilize a full range of electrical hand and power tools.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician license required; Master Electrician license preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of electrical theory, circuit analysis, and grounding/bonding techniques.
- Tools: Must possess a fully equipped personal toolbox and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work well within a team.
