Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and lighting fixtures.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, code violations, and safety risks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of wiring and equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Respond to emergency service calls during weekend shifts and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding project status and electrical needs.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness and ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Familiarity with power tools and testing equipment.
