Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems according to NEC standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Inspect electrical components, including breakers, outlets, and wiring, to identify hazards or defects.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Provide accurate cost estimates and communicate timelines to customers.
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean job site.
- Mentor and guide junior apprentices and helpers when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license with clean record.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
