Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to determine layout.
- Perform electrical inspections to ensure full compliance with local, state, and national safety codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues quickly and effectively.
- Ensure all work sites are kept clean, organized, and safe for both crew members and clients.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients regarding job progress and requirements.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Journeyman Electrician License in New York State.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
