Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to determine layouts.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults and component failures.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication regarding project timelines and costs.
- Manage inventory of materials and supplies for assigned job sites.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of New York.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and work in various environments (including attics, crawlspaces, and heights).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
