Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and repair in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to plan installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and job site documentation.
- Lead and mentor apprentices on-site to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in Virginia or Pennsylvania (or willing to obtain reciprocity).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential wiring.
- Skills: Proficiency with power tools, testing equipment, and electrical distribution systems.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for travel between job sites.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
