Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine layouts.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Test electrical systems and continuity to ensure proper operation and safety.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements.
- Drive company van to various job sites within the Raleigh area.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
