Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and light machinery (skid steers, forklifts)
- Read and interpret blueprints, safety protocols, and project specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA and company safety standards
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material preparation and installation
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Participate in team briefings and progress meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable attendance
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Experience with Tampa Bay construction codes and regulations
