Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and demolition tasks
- Maintain clean, organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions with precision
- Transport materials and equipment using carts, dollies, or light machinery
- Report safety hazards and equipment malfunctions promptly
- Complete daily timesheets and safety checklists accurately
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Experience with construction tools and equipment preferred
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Punctuality and consistent daily availability required
