Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, grading, and concrete pouring operations with precision
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) safely and efficiently
- Install and maintain scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Perform material handling, inventory management, and site cleanup protocols
- Adhere to OSHA standards and project-specific safety requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex night shift assignments
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Class B CDL or forklift certification preferred
- Reliable transportation to job sites across San Diego County
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities
