Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy equipment under supervision
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other skilled trades with project execution
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Maintain clean, organized work environments and waste management
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical specifications
- Participate in emergency response and weather-related site adjustments
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience in urban environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly and work in confined spaces
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement calculation skills
- NYC DOB Site Safety Training (SST) card preferred
- Fluency in English and Spanish a strong plus
