Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic tools (shovels, wheelbarrows, levels) and equipment safely
- Perform cleanup and debris removal at job sites
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Maintain organized tool and material inventory
- Support foundation, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Reliable transportation to Cleveland job sites
- Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 4 PM)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- No prior experience necessary (training provided)
