Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and hauling materials to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various duties to ensure project efficiency.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Unload and organize building materials such as lumber, bricks, and drywall.
- Signal operators of heavy equipment to facilitate safe positioning.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards is preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions.
