Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and residential electrical systems with precision.
- Conduct thorough inspections and load calculations to ensure strict compliance with NEC codes and local regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Lead a team of journeymen and apprentices on large-scale projects, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Ensure all work sites adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Prepare accurate project documentation, including blueprints, schematics, and time reports.
- Collaborate with project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license in the State of California (Master Electrician preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and understanding electrical diagrams.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
