Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings and high-rises
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Lead crews of 3-5 electricians on large-scale commercial projects
- Ensure strict compliance with NYC electrical codes and OSHA safety standards
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and general contractors
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Manage project timelines and material inventory efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Master Electrician license required
- Minimum 8 years commercial electrical experience in NYC
- Expert knowledge of NEC and NYC Electrical Code
- Proven leadership experience with commercial crews
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Experience with power distribution systems and VFDs
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
