Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial and residential electrical systems
- Lead and mentor junior electricians while ensuring compliance with NEC and local regulations
- Perform system diagnostics and repairs on high-voltage equipment and control systems
- Manage project timelines, material procurement, and quality assurance protocols
- Develop electrical schematics and technical documentation for complex installations
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and building inspectors
- Implement safety procedures and conduct site inspections
Qualifications
- Valid District of Master Electrician license (DC)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Familiarity with energy-efficient and smart home technologies
