Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct all electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities on-site to ensure adherence to local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical layouts effectively.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults in commercial and industrial systems with minimal supervision.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify the integrity and functionality of all electrical systems.
- Mentor and train Journeyman and Apprentice electricians, providing technical guidance and support.
- Prepare detailed time logs and material reports for project management review.
Qualifications
- Valid Master Electrician License issued by the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Current OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred).
- Valid Driverβs License with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
